Commitment Alert | Stef Turino

Congratulations to 2020 Outfielder,  Stef Turino on his commitment to Three River College in Poplar Bluff, MO. The 3 R Raiders play in the MCCAC and had a record of 11-11 before the season was ended by COVID 19.  

Turino was fortunate to have his brother Matt Turino help guide him in the process as he choose the same Junior College route. Matt Turino committed to JEFF-CO in Missouri out of high school before transferring to the University of Tennessee in the SEC. 

Stef Turino was looking to find a school that would give him an opportunity for playing time and the guidance to transfer to a four-year school. Turino feels that Three Rivers will give him that opportunity. 

Turino advice to the future Toronto Mets commitments is to "find a school that has the best interest for you, and wants you to succeed, and move on to bigger things." Stef also would like to thank Rich Leitch, Director of Baseball and recruiting coordinator of the Toronto Mets for his guidance and connections.
