Mike Dydula brings over a decade of coaching experience to the Toronto Mets program. Now in his 13th year of coaching and 2nd season with the Mets, Mike previously spent 10 years with North York and 1 year with Agincourt, where he helped develop players across multiple age groups.

As a player, Mike came up through the Agincourt and Scarborough rep systems, spending a season with Whitby before competing at the collegiate level with the University of Waterloo, where he played for three years. After his university career, he continued competing in men’s leagues, including eight years with Scarborough in the OSBA.
Matt Cooper
Matt Cooper brings more than a decade of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for the game to the Toronto Mets program. Now in his second season with the Mets, Matt previously spent 10 years coaching with North York after beginning his coaching career with Agincourt. He is fully certified through the Ontario Baseball Association and NCCP, meeting all provincial coaching requirements.

As a player, Matt grew up in Scarborough with the Agincourt program, later spending a season with Thornhill repbefore competing at the collegiate level with York University. Following his time at York, he continued to play competitively in the Richmond Hill Men’s Baseball League (RHMRBL) for more than a decade before retiring from playing in recent years.
Matt’s extensive experience as both a player and coach allows him to connect with athletes at all levels, helping them grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game.

Eddie McKiernan brings a wealth of professional experience and player development expertise to the Toronto Mets. A highly regarded prospect out of California, Eddie was recognized as the 2006 California Player of the Year and committed to play at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before being selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 2007 MLB Draft. He later signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2013, extending a professional playing career that began with national recognition at the high school level.

Following his playing days, Eddie dedicated himself to developing players, running his own successful training facility in California from 2007–2018. After relocating to Canada in 2019, he quickly became a respected coach within the elite baseball community, serving with the Titans Baseball Club from 2020–2024.
Eddie is now in his second year with the Toronto Mets, where he serves as the 14U Head Coach. His professional background, instructional knowledge, and passion for teaching make him an invaluable mentor for young athletes looking to reach the next level.
Andrew Graham
Andrew Graham began his baseball journey with the East York Bulldogs, where he played from 1990 to 2004 before joining Team Toronto in 2002. He went on to compete collegiately at Genesee Community College from 2004 to 2006 and earned an offer to play at Canisius College in 2007 before an injury ended his playing career.

Andrew began coaching with the Toronto Mets in 2019, working with several age groups including 14U, 16U, 17U, and 18U. He also spent the 2022 season coaching the Titans 18U program before returning to the Mets, where he continues to develop young athletes and lead the 14U Minor team through the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

Griffin McMillian
Griffin McMillian is a former Toronto Mets player who now brings his playing experience and passion for development to the organization’s coaching staff. A Toronto Mets alumnus (2018–2022), Griffin competed at one of Canada’s top elite programs before continuing his career at the University of Rio Grande (2022–2023), where he gained valuable experience at the collegiate level in the United States.

Since returning to the Mets, Griffin has been an integral part of the organization as both a Coach (2023–Present) and Junior Mets Instructor (2023–2025). He focuses on teaching hitting and defensive fundamentals while emphasizing approach, confidence, and mindset. Griffin’s ability to connect with players and translate his playing experience into meaningful instruction makes him a strong asset to the Mets’ development system.

Tony Vavaroutsos
Anthony Vavaroutsos brings a wealth of experience as both a standout player and a dedicated coach within the Toronto Mets program. A Mets alumnus himself, Anthony played from 2014–2018, earning Team MVP in 2017 before continuing his career at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

At Shippensburg, Anthony made an immediate impact, being named PSAC East Freshman of the Year and receiving NCBWA Freshman All-American honors in 2019. His success at the collegiate level reflects his strong work ethic, leadership, and ability to compete at a high level.
Anthony returned to the Toronto Mets in 2023 as an Assistant Coach and quickly rose to Head Coach, where he continues to mentor the next generation of players. His playing background and coaching experience make him a strong resource for athletes looking to develop their skills, prepare for college baseball, and compete at the highest level.
Robbie Vavaroutsos
Robbie Vavaroutsos is a former Toronto Mets player who now brings his knowledge and experience back to the program as a coach and instructor. Robbie began his playing career with North York AAA (2009–2016) before joining the Toronto Mets (2017–2021), where he developed under one of the country’s top programs. He continued his playing career at the collegiate level with George Brown College in the OCAA (2022).

Duncan Watt
Duncan Watt has built a strong reputation within the Toronto Mets program as both a coach and player development leader. A former infielder himself, Duncan competed with the Ontario Prospects 17U/18U before moving on to collegiate baseball. He played at Muscatine Community College in 2011 and then at Westminster College in Pennsylvania (2012–2016), where he was named a PAC Honorable Mention in 2015 and served as Team Captainduring his senior year.

Over the past decade, he has led teams at the 15U, 16U, and 17U levels, consistently helping players develop and advance. In 2025, Duncan enters his latest season as the 16U Head Coach.
In addition to his head coaching duties, Duncan currently serves as the Toronto Mets Infield Coordinator and Hitting Coordinator, overseeing skill development across the program. His combination of playing experience, leadership, and instructional expertise continues to make him a key part of the Mets coaching staff.

Rich Leitch
Rich Leitch is entering his 17th year with the Toronto Mets and serves as the organization’s Vice President of Baseball Operations, as well as the Hitting and Catching Coordinator. A longtime leader within the program, Rich has been instrumental in building one of Canada’s premier player development systems.

A longtime leader within the program, Rich has been instrumental in building one of Canada’s premier player development systems.
Before joining the Mets, Rich spent nearly a decade coaching at the NCAA Division II level, including five seasons as Head Coach at Salem University, where he led the team to multiple record-setting seasons and postseason appearances.
With the Mets, Rich has helped guide nearly 300 players to college scholarships and 32 MLB Draft selections, including Major Leaguers Jonah Tong, Denzel Clarke, Liam Hicks, and Tyler Black. Known for his technical expertise and player-first approach, Rich continues to help shape the next generation of Canadian baseball talent.
Pete Angelow
Peter Angelow has been a part of elite baseball in Ontario for over 25 years. Since joining the Toronto Mets in 2013, he has coached and managed teams from 14U through 18U in the PBLO and CPBL and currently serves as the organization’s Outfield Coordinator.

Before joining the Mets, Peter was a long-time coach and manager with Team Ontario and the Ontario Terriers, leading teams in national and international competition. He was also an original member of Team Toronto and the Toronto Hawks, two programs that helped pave the way for the formation of the Toronto Mets.
Peter has extensive experience coaching at high-profile U.S. tournaments, including 13 years at the Junior Sunbelt Classic in Oklahoma, where he was inducted into the Junior Sunbelt Coaches Hall of Fame in 2012. His teams have captured multiple championships, including the 2011 Sandlot World Series in Tennessee, and earned numerous provincial and national titles in Canada.
Fully NCCP certified, Peter brings decades of experience in player development, instruction, and leadership to the Toronto Mets program.

Mark Walker brings a unique blend of high-level playing experience and multi-sport coaching expertise to the Toronto Mets program. A product of Agincourt, Leaside, and North York minor baseball, Mark went on to compete internationally, playing travel baseball with the Indiana Express (1990–1991) and training at the Vittorio Baseball Academy. He later became a four-year varsity letterman at NCAA Division I Murray State University (Kentucky), where he played catcher and also served as an instructor at the school’s youth baseball camps.

After graduation in 1996, where he was honored as Class Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude, and Man of the Year, Mark’s coaching career expanded across both baseball and hockey. He coached the Paducah Expos 11U travel teambefore moving into hockey, serving as an Assistant Coach with the New Jersey Devils Junior A Hockey Club (1996–2000) and later as a USA Hockey Certified Development Coach, including time as Head Coach of the 15U Atlantic District Team in 1999.
Returning to Ontario, Mark dedicated over a decade to grassroots development, coaching Whitby Minor Baseball Association rep teams for seven years (NCCP accredited) and serving 13 years with the Ajax-Pickering Raiders Minor Hockey program as a Development 1 Coach and Certified Trainer with Hockey Canada.
Since 2022, Mark has been a coach with the Toronto Mets, where he draws on his diverse coaching background and playing career to help develop and mentor the next generation of athletes.

Darryl Reid brings a wealth of experience to the Toronto Mets program as both a player and coach. A two-time provincial champion with the Oshawa Legionaires, Darryl went on to star at Durham College where he earned CIBA All-Star, Team MVP, and Athlete of the Year honors. His playing career continued in the Intercounty Baseball League with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Oshawa Dodgers, and he was named League MVP after winning the 2007 GTBL Championship with the Oshawa Royals.

Internationally, Darryl has coached with the Great Britain National Team, participating in multiple European Championships and the World Baseball Classic Qualifier.
Darryl joined the Toronto Mets organization in 2013 and has since guided teams to championships at the 16U and 17U levels. Now serving as the 18U Head Coach and Academic Coordinator, he’s passionate about developing players on and off the field—focusing on mindset, leadership, and preparation for success at the next level.
Kaz Horiuchi
Kazuo Horiuchi brings a strong mix of international playing experience and proven coaching success to the Toronto Mets program. Now in his eighth year of coaching and fifth season with the Mets, Kazuo began his coaching career with Richmond Hill, where he spent three years helping players develop across multiple age groups.

As a player, Kazuo progressed through the Richmond Hill rep system before competing at the collegiate level with York University, where he played for three seasons. He also earned the unique honor of representing the Peruvian National Team at the WBSC U23 World Cup Qualifiers in 2020, gaining valuable international experience.
Today, Kazuo serves as an 18U Assistant Coach with the Mets, where he continues to share his knowledge, passion, and diverse baseball background with the next generation of players.
