What Sets the Program Apart

Led by former professional and college baseball players, the Junior Mets Development Program offers players the opportunity to refine their pitching, hitting, and fielding skills in a structured, high-energy environment. The training model is built on the same principles that have helped the Toronto Mets become one of Canada’s top development organizations, producing Team Canada players, NCAA scholarship athletes, and MLB draft picks.

Proven Success Stories

Last year’s participants saw tremendous success:

  • Many became impact players on their Rep teams throughout the summer.

  • Families and coaches reported significant improvements in mechanics, approach, and game readiness.

  • Several players advanced into higher-level programs, continuing along the same pathway that has led Mets alumni to college, national, and professional baseball.

Building the Next Generation

The Junior Mets Development Program is more than just skills training—it’s about building baseball IQ, instilling confidence, and preparing young athletes to thrive when their season begins in the spring. With the move to the new Aurora facility, players will benefit from an elite-level training environment paired with the Mets’ proven development model.
