Ryan Chordis Commits to Salem University

Toronto Mets 2024 OF Ryan Chordis has announced his commitment to NCAA Division II Salem University in Salem, WV.

The Mets have a long history with the Tigers which is the current home to 2020 OF/RHP Ben Siterenios, 2022 C Jackson Hutchison and 2022 LHP/1B Liam Conway.  It is also the alma mater of Mets President Ryan McBride, Vice President Rich Leitch and 18U Head Coach Drew Roberts.  Leitch was a 1997 graduate followed by McBride in '98 and Roberts in '04.  Leitch also served as Head Coach of the Tigers from 2001-2006.

Ryan is the 12th commit for the Mets 2024 class and will compete for Head Coach JT Heenan.

Ryan is the son of Bob and Sharon Chordis. He will graduate from Bill Crothers High School in the spring.
