Sam Spencer Commits to Southeastern CC

Toronto Mets 2024 RHP Sam Spencer has announced his commitment to NJCAA Division II Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa.

Sam is the most recent Mets grad to play for the Blackhawks joining the likes of 2017 RHP Hayden Malenfant and 2019 OF Noel McGarry-Doyle.

Sam is the 13th commit for the Mets 2024 class and will compete for Head Coach Justin Schulte and Assistant Coach John (Johnny Mac) McVey.  The Blackhawks were the runner-ups in the 2023 NJCAA World Series.

Sam is the son of Todd Spencer and Wendy Kan. A Toronto native he will graduate from Malvern Collegiate in the spring.
