The Toronto Mets is pleased to offer you a roster spot for our program for the 2027 season. Our program is founded on development. Our focus is to help each player achieve their baseball, personal, and academic goals as a student-athlete. Under the guidance of our staff and coaches, every player has the opportunity to reach their full potential as an elite athlete and student by being part of the Toronto Mets.

Our program philosophy and development structure is a testament to our hardworking, dedicated, caring, and qualified staff. We believe we have assembled one of the best coaching staffs, front offices, and strength & conditioning teams in Canada. Every year, over 95% of our graduating players move on to play US College baseball. Many of our players represent the Toronto Mets in the Tournament 12, the Ontario Youth Team, and Junior National Team. A handful of our players are selected by Major League Baseball organizations in the June draft.

Our program operates year-round and begins the first week of September 2026. This segment includes local games and practices, a US tournament, and strength and conditioning. Phase two of our season runs from late October 2026 until mid-December 2026. This segment is heavily focused on strength and conditioning and injury prevention. Structured baseball activities are scaled back; however, our athletes will still have an opportunity to hit and work in small groups at our facility with coaches and instructors present.

From January to May 2027, our athletes train by position at our indoor facility, the Toronto Mets Performance Centre. This segment is structured solely for skill development. In addition, our athletes will enter the next phase of our offseason strength and conditioning program. Our pitching program is also ongoing during this time and runs for 22 consecutive weeks beginning mid-December 2026.

Starting early May 2027, our teams compete in the Canadian Premier Baseball League, which is the top developmental league in Canada. Our CPBL schedule consists of roughly 30 games, with the majority of those taking place from early May to late June 2027. Our league playoffs are a tournament format and are held the first weekend of August 2027. From mid-June to August 2027, our teams will attend a handful of select and highly competitive US tournaments in order to maximize our players’ exposure to US College coaches and professional scouts.
